Digital Implantology

NSOMS is a leader in digital implantology using the most advanced skill and technology with our state-of-art equipment. The digital implant workflow allows you to see not only the expected treatment outcome before anything gets started but also allows our surgeons to accurately place your implants for the best results. This means your surgery will be much safer, less invasive, and highly predictable.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth or teeth which are not savable can often be replaced with dental implants. This treatment replaces your tooth with the next best alternative. Call us to arrange a time to see if dental implants are right for you.

wisdom-teeth

Wisdom teeth are the third and last molars on each side of the upper and lower jaws. Wisdom teeth are the most likely tooth to be impacted.  Also due to their location they can be very difficult to clean effectively leading her problems with your teeth next door.

At NSOMS, our surgeons are experts at the surgical placement of dental implants. We work with a number of very talented general dental practitioners throughout Auckland to deliver the restorative phase (crown/bridge) of the treatment. You are very welcome to return to your own dentist for the restorative work.

Today, clinical implant treatments require years of manual skill development on the parts of the surgeon, restorative dentist, and dental technician. This can be accomplished using digital technologies to plan and place a restorative-driven implant and its restoration in just three patient visits.

In modern dentistry, living with unsecured dentures has faded away from being the “gold standard” treatment for people who have lost all of their teeth (or just about to). These traditional dentures may be inconveniently loose, painful and socially awkward at times. They may also stop you from eating many of the foods you once enjoyed. The way you speak may also be affected by these dentures.

The all-on-4 treatment concept is the best in its class of solutions for patients with no teeth or has set of teeth that are soon to be lost. The concept involves replacement of a full arch of teeth with a fixed bridge on four dental implants.

We also perform:

  • Surgery associated with a failed root canal (Apical surgery: Apicectomy and root end filling)
  • Multiple extractions and full dental clearances
  • Exposure or removal of other impacted teeth such as canines (eye teeth)
  • Oral Biopsy
  • Among other oral surgical procedures
